While Liz Lerman was artist-in-residence at Harvard University in 2011, she started a project called "The Treadmill Tapes": knowing that people think differently when they're moving, Liz went on treadmill "walks" with dozens of people and recorded the interactions. In 2017 Liz did another edition of the project at the Arizona State University (ASU) Art Museum, which made this trailer. The conversations are loose, sometimes funny, sometimes poignant, and frequently surprising. Overall they confirm that 1) Liz is good company, and 2) it's almost always a good idea to go for a walk.
