A re-edit of the incredible SIEZE THE FRAME short film, "Force of Darkness", to contextualize the scene as Kylo Ren's fantasy in The Rise of Skywalker. Now the snowy forest appears to be Ren re-living his loss to Rey, a loss that haunts him as much as the specter of Darth Vader. I was surprised the film barely dealt with Kylo's Vader obsession, especially since it is at the root of what makes him so manipulatable by the film's villain, Palpatine, who is now framed as the one encouraging these twisted revenge fantasies to drive Kylo mad.
