A couple of years ago I had the privilege to travel to Africa again. This time to the beautiful Tanzania. Back then due to circumstances I never got around to finishing the film that I intended to make.

Not too long ago I finished the first preview/trailer for the footage I’ve been shooting in Haiti (dropping in May!!). I came to the realisation that I’ve developed a true and deep love for documenting people and their stories.

I knew what had to be done. I needed to finish that one project I never got around to making. There was no pressure there, as it was released in a different form years ago. Maybe that’s why I never felt the urge to start editing. I never felt closure though. Especially when I started going through the footage that I’ve shot there.

So with some spare time that I have left during the nights while all my girls were asleep I opened my laptop to start editing this film. It took away a couple of nights of sleep in the past few weeks. But I’m incredibly proud and happy to release to you the true spiritual successor to the first film I made in Kenya (Rainmakers I).

Thanks to Justdiggit & Wessel for granting me the opportunity to document these two beautiful countries and gifting me the experience of a lifetime.
