If you’ve ever wanted to dip your toe into the Thinking Particles system in C4D and get quick and astounding results, this may be the tutorial for you!

We will employ the help of the mighty and versatile Matrix Object to do the heavy lifting in our TP setup to create stunning patterns and motion graphics. It’s fun, it’s easy, and with a touch of Xpresso, we’ll add multiple TP Groups and direct each group with specific instructions and dynamics.

This is not a full-blown TP tutorial, but a simple and fun approach to Thinking Particles, and a way to achieve some amazing results in short order! We’ll play with Tracer Objects, explore a few TP gotchas, learn about the Particle Geometry Object, set up Hair Materials for rendering the particles, and have some fun in the process!
