About 7 years working as a Senior Production Artist and Animator, assisting and eventually creating motion graphics from hand drawn animation, to 2D/3D, to puppet animations and motion graphics.

The main tools used for these games were the Adobe Suite 2014 (Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects) and Maya and Cinema 4D.

Break Down

Golden Gladiator

Production: Texture/Lighting/Render of Colosseum, minor modelling of additional 3D assets.
Motion Graphics and Color Correction assistance to original Animator, Michael Cocuzza.

Post-Production: Creation of additional assets for a client. Keyed and composited footage for new animations. Top screen animations and demo attract.

Chicago

Post-Production: Original Art and Animation by Vince Evans and Christian Mejia. Color correction, compositing and polish work for client. Higher resolution assets for bigger land-based screens.
Created additional Animation for client. Demo Attract.

Mayan Macaw

Production: First full game pitched/designed by our team. Re-textured the Macaw bird 3D models in Maya, with intricate Mayan art designs. Animated all birds.
Created motion graphics for all symbols and game assets. Storyboard and concept art, along with Art Director Guillermo Gonzales, Illustrators Johan Lood and Isaac Litman.

Empress of Time: The Forever Fortune

Production: First full game I've been given to work on all of the animations. Gyro Sphere was modeled/lit/animated/rendered using Maya.
All motion graphics and game assets animated in After Effects.

Triple Ghouls

Production: Animated the main characters by traditional hand drawn animation and vector work done in post.
All animations done in After Effects.

Spy Family

Production: First game where I had the pleasure to illustrate the main cast of characters, with assistance by my Illustrator Johan Lood.
Animated the main characters by traditional hand drawn animation and vector work done in post.
All animations done in After Effects.

Triple Otter

Production: Animated the main characters and all game assets. Minor illustration work.
All animations done in After Effects.

Captain Payback 2

Production: First game where I animated the main characters by traditional hand drawn animation and vector work done in post.
All animations done in After Effects.

Dangerous Beauty 2

Post-Production: Created new animations for the two main character sword masters. Minor game asset assistance.

Celtic Courage

Production: Worked with Illustrator John Thompson and Animator Bruce Walk. Though was a Production Artist, I was given the task to texture and animate the animal models in Maya (With the shave and a hair cut plugin)
Created some of the game assets like the transitions.

Post-Production: A new Post-Production team was formed with Art Director Guillermo Gonzales and Illustrator Johan Lood, with me acted as Animator.
This was the first game we were tasked to polish, create new game assets for our client. Created the top screen assets.

Voyage From Venice

Production: Created all animations in After Effects.

Lady Helsing

Post-Production: Created additional assets for client. Keyed, color correct, composited footage for new animations.
All animations done in After Effects. Minor hand drawn animation of Lady Helsing riding a horse.

Rum City

Production: Production Artist role. From initial pitch to final execution, created the speak easy pick bonus feature. Animations were done in Maya and brought together in After Effects.
Created top screen demo attract motion graphics animation. Original Illustrator John Thompson and Animation Bruce Walk.

Cast Your Bets

Production: Animated the main symbols by traditional hand drawn animation and vector work done in post.
All animations done in After Effects.

Canopy Capers

Production: Animated the main symbols by traditional hand drawn animation.
All animations done in After Effects. First game using Duik script for the Chameleon character.

Zen Panda

Production: Production Artist role. Animation assistance and bug fixes. Original Animator Bruce Walk.

Post-Production: Animated new game assets for client. Animated the initial sequence shown in the demo reel, from backgrounds to cuddly pandas.

Legends of Troy

Post-Production: Animated new game assets for client.

Night Jasmine

Post-Production: Animated new game assets for client.

End Scene was illustrated and animated by myself using Photoshop and After Effects.
