In 2018 we interviewed World Health Organization Executive Director Dr Mike Ryan on the 2003 spread of SARS. He's now one of the team of experts leading the fight against Coronavirus. With the assessment of the virus as at pandemic level, we've decided to publish his interview with us, in the hope that it sheds some light on the workings of the WHO.
