Challenging myself to write, direct, film, edit and release one film a day for five days, "In a world filled with wonder and blight" is the second film in my #5in5—five films in five days. The film was captured in The Presidio of San Francisco and in San Francisco's The Mission district during the Covid 19/novel coronavirus shelter-in-place order on Tuesday, March 24, 2020.

Life feels obstructed, and so it is fitting that each of the five films will have specific obstructions, this one had to be 240 seconds long, in slow motion, no jump cuts, must be shot outdoors on day of the shoot, social distancing must be observed, shot on an iPhone 6S, and this one must convey hope.

Written, directed and produced by J. Andrew. Special thanks to Jimmy Strano for driving and kraft services. Daniel Blair for equipment. The background music is the song "midnight souls still remain" by M83 on the album "Saturdays = Youth." I did not license and do not own this music, but I did remix it slightly for this film. This is not a commercial film.
