I do not recall when and where this started. I found myself being engaged in these kinds of projects. I took nude photos, I draw some pictures, and eventually, I began working on this film. I filmed it in darkness. I filmed it in silence. I launched an experimental strategy with what I know best: cinema. I believe that this work is the result of all these experiences and ideas. I didn’t realize it at first, but now I do. I guess my intention since the start was to create another universe that I can control. I wanted to offer a new perspective to a woman’s body, one that I want to believe and enjoy before anyone else does. I needed to bring into being another planet formed by astonishing landscapes, mysterious caves, and high mountains. My camera made love to the beautiful different bodies that I filmed hoping that the viewer can get carried away to my world: the virgin territory of pure skin.
My choice of a macro lens was not random. I wanted to get as close as I can to the visible surface to break the walls and get way too deep to that (maybe) messed up inside. I needed a random wanderer to make his way, in a beautiful tiring journey, in the wonderland of the human body. Yes, this is how I want to see it. I am trying to believe that my body, that any woman’s body, that anyone’s body is a unique masterpiece, a unique planet, and a unique mixture. I wandered and I wandered until I got there, to nowhere.
