The Love Story between Titus, the future emperor of Rome, and Berenice, a Jewish princess, brought back to a future dimension. By order of Vespasian, Jerusalem will be conquered and destroyed. Despite the brutality of the Roman army's action, Berenice decides to follow Tito to Rome, where they will face the hostility of all. The Reason of State will win over Love, and separation will be painful for both. The inspiration from a real fact returns to revive the eternal themes of human tragedy: Love and Reason of State, Lust for Power and Desire for Happiness.

La Storia d'Amore tra Tito, futuro imperatore di Roma, e Berenice, principessa giudea, riportata in una dimensione futura. Per ordine di Vespasiano, Gerusalemme verrà espugnata e distrutta. Nonostante la brutalità dell'azione dell'esercito romano, Berenice decide di seguire Tito a Roma, dove dovranno affrontare l'ostilità di tutti. La Ragion di Stato vincerà sull'Amore, e la separazione sarà dolorosa per entrambi. L'ispirazione da un fatto reale torna a riproporre i temi eterni della tragedia umana: Amore e Ragion di Stato, Brama di Potere e Desiderio di felicità.
