I don’t know what this is. I had this idea in February to weave a wall with natural materials and project something on to it. After reevaluating my options and time this is what happened. I woke up at 4:30 in the morning and picked up my friend Anderson and we drove to the Audubon. The sun was barely above the horizon and before we walked to the location we ate some warm apple bread that Anderson had brought. He helped me get set up and then he left. As the film goes on you can see the sun rise. The initial performance of the installation was 25 minutes. I must note that the video you are watching is not the “finished piece”, it is just documentation of the experience. Behind the camera is a lake and as the video goes on and the sun rises over the land there was a mist that was coating the surface of the water. It smelled fresh. It smelled like everything was okay. I feel a little better now.
