‘Huh Strange’ explores and celebrates inappropriate compatibility between objects, sounds, people and environments. It follows the inner turmoil of someone on the journey to discovering their identity, and the idea of not fitting in, yet finding a place to belong despite this.
Abnormal pairings, such as a balloon and a cactus, do not necessarily belong together, yet they can create an unusual sense of connection. Despite the connections made, there is usually a reason for such things being separated. Danger can be hiding behind the façade of playful, quirky juxtapositions. Finding one's identity is a life-long journey, and is shaped by everything that happens around us.
This surrealistic film is supported by the background score ‘Bittersweet Waltz’ by Sir Cubworth.
