Heart Throb is a coming of age drama that follows Mel, a shy 17-year-old girl, who’s incredibly talented at guitar and is completely obsessed with her favourite musician “Hugo Turner”. Mel must confront her idolised version of him when she is tackled with the news that he has been sexually inappropriate with fans younger than herself. Mel must find a new purpose in her own talents and focus on discovering herself. Mel will learn to not live vicariously through others success and instead go and live it herself.
