BACKGROUND /
Dutch illustrator and animation extraordinaire Eva Cremers invited us to imagine the sound for her colourful world of rich and detailed characters. You can find it featured on the opening page of her new website!
APPROACH /
The film opens in a bizarre, Twilight Zone-esque setting and we wanted to mirror that sense of mystery. An upbeat acoustic track welcomes us in to Happy World, augmented with positive and bubbly sounds and voices that keep the mood up until we finally return to the curious realm of space. Different perspectives are applied to the soundtrack throughout to assist in illustrating our journey.
