My inspiration for this video stemmed from when I saw Douglas Gordon's 24 hour psycho in which he manipulated the time of the movie Psycho to span over 24 hours. I wanted to do the opposite with my video, so I filmed my hamster rolling across the floor in a ball and sped it up to 150% to make it shorter. I wanted to make it something silly that might make you laugh, given what is going on in the world at the moment. I cut out all the bits where my hamster was off frame for a comical effect. You see her leave the frame in one spot and then re-enter from a completely different spot. I also threw in a couple palindromes that went along with the music and I key-framed the audio to fade out at the end.
