I’m Gabriel Emme, aspiring Filmmaker:
Through out my professional and academic formation I was able to create an idiosyncratic independent filmography that has been build by different approaches towards the cinematic form and narrative experimentation on the dimensions of tone and character.
All of this gave my work a sense of identity and consolidated my interest for the ironic contradiction and existencial mess that is human relationships and the relationships with one self. Mi approach towards the human conflict is through a timeless comedy of manners that exposes the romantic affairs of complications of undercover romantic inside a fictional and artificial world that inhabits emotional reality and intelectual relevance.
Mi cinematic voice always favors character and dialogue over everything else, without ignoring the technical and visual aspects of the cinematic execution; and in the process creating a balanced narrative style between form, style and emotion.
For me Cinema is not about making Motion Pictures, but “Emotion Pictures”…
