Humanity lives in a time and in a defined space that man with his conscience must shape for mankind preservation , without leaving time and space the opportunity to invade. « A very enthusiastic teenager, Francois Otte moved in Mauritius in 1966 for his baccalauréat for 3 years, he dived in solo apnea into the lagoon, crossing the coral reef in the fishes, the ocean from which his painting had been born. He obtained at 17 years old a first prize of painting in the French Arts center of Curepipe after having met Malcolm de Chazal at his exhibition to the Town Hall. After the fine art and the decorative artistic careers : special effects cinema , architecture – decoration, arts and crafts, project manager of an aluminium schoner, accompanied with many journeys. Under the influence of Vincent Van Gogh and Paul Gauguin and later the abstracts expressionists Vassily Kandinsky and Jackson Pollock. He revealed his personal and genuine expression as from 1992 during his first important exhibition at the F.O.L, Nouméa in New Calédonia. Since then, he evolves in what he names the dynamic trace of the object in living or unliving movement : its dynamic balance , its permanent regulation ; its existential threshold. Installed at Saint – Rémy de Provence at the « Hang’Art » François Otte writes the « Manifeste du Zéro Existentialiste » follow – up of a short film and two exhibitions 1997 and 1999 whose guest of honor was « Caroline de Monaco ». Opening in 2004 in Mauritius of his personal gallery « Ô Dodo » with his wife Katie Otte. He connects many exhibitions in the large hotel chains Mauritians 5* stars at « Paradis Hotel », « Four Seasons Resort » and more, in Europe, Grand Palais in Paris in 2009 . 2010 in Marseille a great private exhibition organized by " VLG Associates ". Sold at Auction sales at " TAJAN " 22rd November 2011 of a work " Mosquito " giving the official quote of the square point, followed by Private International Collectors and events in Hong Kong and Barcelona in 2012 / 2013. »
