Once - some 900 years ago, the mighty giant Finn, singlehanded, built the great cathedral in Lund. Today he is contained at several diverse establishment, this winter he is kept in a temporary cell in Krognoshuset.

Swedish artists Petter Lawenius and David Krantz transformed the medieval building Krognoshuset (today an art gallery), in central Lund, Sweden, into a prison cell for the local mythological character: the giant Finn, in the video installation "Finn in Chains".

An additional work on the back of the building shows the unfortunate guard whose job is to keep clean after the giant, and who endlessly hesitates to fulfill his dangerous task.

The Giant is a 30 minutes looped film, projected in four windows on two sides of the building. The Guard is a 50 second looped, (real person) stop-motion animation.
