My short film about a week at sea with an American deep-sea diver who thought the Great Barrier Reef was dead, and three Cairns-based Marlin fishermen, will premiere at The Majestic Theatre in Pomona on 8th June. If you live in southeast Queensland, I hope that you can take the afternoon off and come with us across the Coral Sea. Eventually we arrive at Myrmidon Reef that is the most magical place. We search for the monster corals with annual growth rings, like tree rings, that are time capsules of the ocean's climate history.
