For our first film sketch, we decided to do the prompt regarding focus and shifting depth of field. We wanted to demonstrate our understanding of focus, including an attempt at a rack focus as well as various "focus holds" (where the Camera Op followed a subject down the hallway, keeping them in a shallow depth of field). We knew we wanted to film in a long hallway since we had the telephoto video cameras, which led us to St. Joe's on the 4th floor.
