Fiercer: A platform changing behaviours one story at a time
Our purpose: Is to create an inclusive screen industry that reduces barriers to entry for female-identifying screen practitioners, and audiences by connecting, creating, distributing, and supporting female-identifying voices both in front and behind the camera.
Our history: Fiercer was developed through Illawarra Film Festival [linktr.ee/illawarrafilmfest] and will follow their format, screening Australian and International short films or short series, offering established and emerging creators an opportunity to showcase their various talents by accepting all genres as long as a female-identifying person is in two of the following key positions on the film: Director, Producer, Writer, Lead female Protagonist, Cinematographer, Editor, or Composer, and 50% of the cast and crew are female-identifying.
