José and Nora, an aging couple coping with Alzheimer’s, spend their afternoons tracing the routes of planes that take off and land in a nearby airport. After 60 years of marriage, their lives have settled into a gentle routine in their apartment in San José, Costa Rica. Together they read the paper, water their plants and look through old photographs. In these quotidian moments, glimpses of their past occasionally surface as planes fade into the distance.

Tras 60 años de matrimonio, sus vidas se acostumbraron a una rutina tranquila en su apartamento en San José, Costa Rica. Juntos leen el periódico, riegan las plantas y repasan sus fotografías. En esta rutina, sus recuerdos van y vienen como los aviones que se pierden en la distancia.
