“Ending tone to the sea” tells you where we live in a story between a mother and her son. One day when Akiko struggling to make ends meet, her son, Ren, showed up suddenly after 5 years long. In the 5 years, Akiko has been silently living a frugal life. Akiko was not able to talk to Ren honestly any more, and got feisty. Akiko and Ren knew the depths between their minds was so deep. However, Ren asked Akiko to go to a place with him as his last request. It was a seashore where the ending tone was. This “Ending tone to the sea” is self homage film in a mirror for Film “Kay” (2020) directed by Hironori Kujiraoka.
