In the glaring light of a spring day, a father and his child roam the Botanical Garden. After they lose sight of each other, they each have their own encounters - with a woman on a bench and a gardener. Finally, the father and his child leave the garden together and stop at the river. A flute sounds from a flowering bush - someone is practicing his instrument in secret.
Im gleißenden Licht eines Frühlingstages streifen ein Vater und sein Kind durch den Botanischen Garten. Nachdem sie einander aus den Augen verlieren, haben sie ihre je eigenen Begegnungen - mit einer Frau auf der Bank und einem Gärtner. Schließlich verlassen der Vater und sein Kind den Garten zusammen und machen einen Halt am Fluss. Aus einem blühenden Busch tönt eine Flöte - jemand übt sein Instrument im Verborgenen.
