Don’t Let Me Be Misunderstood by Problak X Marka27

Together, Problak and Marka27 wanted to create artwork inspired by singer, songwriter, musician and Civil Rights activist – Nina Simone, to evoke a connection between the unjust lived experiences of Black people and people of color of the past and the racial inequities that continue to persist today. Problak says he's reminded of a powerful quote from Nina Simone: “An artist's duty, as far as I'm concerned, is to reflect the times."
