This is a Super 8 film I developed myself and had scanned by a company in Sheffield called Images 4 Life.' Difference and Repetition' explores the concept of being stuck in loop of arbitrary actions through the medium of Super 8 film. Influenced by the philosophy of Gilles Deleuze, the work investigates themes of interconnectivity and the mundane. Quotidian objects begin to take on a quality of the uncanny when repeated consecutively. Staging repetitions and occurrences as well as considering the limitations of Super 8 as a linear film, it begins to take on a nonsensical non-narrative.There are other versions recorded and projected on a Super 8 projector.
