Normally I wouldn't post a 20 minute film of mine on my vimeo account. Especially one that I'm only in the first five minutes of and then sprinkled a few minutes in the latter half, but I loved working on this and being a father to these girls. This was a Fitchburg State University project I shot back in April 2011. It's inspired by Hansel and Gretel. I loved working in the woods, grassy fields, a rustic old hut and scenes briefly glimpsed with a witch in a swamp. I don't think the students ever did anything with this film and I don't know if they ever really finished it. I think this was the final rough cut, but it was still supposed to be scored. It's too bad because I think it's a solid little atmospheric horror tale. Maybe someone will stumble across this and enjoy it.
