"A fine artist and a quirky collector collaborate to turn a Goggomobil Dart into an objet d’art, revealing in the process an incredible history behind the Australian designed car and the people surrounding it."

The film features interviews with the Australian designer of the Dart, Bill Buckle, fine artist Robert Clinch, Jeff Brown (the son of Dr Joseph Brown who donated one of the largest privately-owned collections of Australian art to the NGV), Tommy Dysart and his wife Joan Brockenshire (who helped make the Dart car famous to Australians through a famous TV commercial in the 1990's) David Thomas (who wrote the book on Clinch), the late Lauraine Diggins OAM, Dr Gerard Vaughan AM (Former National Gallery of Australia & NGV Director) as well as car enthusiasts, collectors and more.

It is a serious project featuring a collection of quirky people, a spirited little car and a few laughs along the way! We hope you come along and enjoy it with us.
