Composition 2010.01 (Object World) is an exploration of what the the architect and philosopher Buckminster Fuller called post-industrial ephemeralization - of doing more with less - of doing everything with nothing. The composition is an example of technological lessness - and consists of four basic elements - all of which are sinewave-based and have been digitally produced using FM synthesis. One of the elements is a continuous slowly pulsating tone that acts as a background continuum for the other three repeating sounds - with these three elements fading in and out of the mix with glacial movement.
