CineUp is an International Student Film Festival which was established as part of the University of Prishtina with the aim of gathering film students from all over the world in the up-coming editions, for discussions, master-classes with outstanding film personalities, gaining the closest knowledge about the production of a film and various awards.
On our first edition, we had more than 30 students that submitted their films, which where screened online and broadcast live.
We also had four online master-classes with four outstanding film personalities including Oscar-nominated, Sundance-winner the director of photography, Fejmi Daut and the Twice Oscar Winner, Canadian scriptwriter, director and producer, Paul Haggis.
Due to the pandemic, the first edition of the International Student Film Festival - CineUp was completely held online, through our official University Facebook Page, Fakulteti i Arteve - Regji Filmi dhe TV (Faculty of arts - Directing Film and TV) and was broadcast live on one of the most popular television channels in Kosovo - TV Dukagjini.
