A surrealist exploration, ‘Chrominance’ sees a world devoid of natural colour, the only way to experience it is in bizarre dreams where one can enjoy the privilege of vivid and imaginary colours.
In a world of black and white, our dreams are the key to any form of sensation and vividness. The one chance to experience colour, sensation and rich radiance comes only for a few hours at night when our minds enjoy the luxury of travelling to different worlds that we cannot physically visit. Though exaggerated and taking on a mind of its own, colour exists solely in a bizarre, distorted reality where it seemingly takes on a life of its own. After the ticking of a clock, colour bleeds into the dreamt world, completely absorbing it, before receding back to the banality of a black and white life.
