Brand Energies were recently asked by CCTV, China's national broadcaster, to re-brand their hugely popular drama channel CCTV8.
Our agency began by designing a new logo for CCTV8 based on an 8 numeral reversed out of a red cinema screen icon.
In a series of beautifully crafted 10 seconds idents we created different cinematic mood pieces to express different feelings; each based on forming the 8 numeral in different renderings.
The new idents were all delivered at 4K resolution with surround sound.
