What does it mean to be a feminist today? Is gender a social construct or a biological reality? And importantly, can women's liberties and the equality of the sexes and other liberal values be upheld in a time of rapid societal transformation? These are some of the questions raised - and answered - in this daring documentary by the English-Swedish author and documentarian Pelle Neroth Taylor.

Filmed in Sweden and the United States, it lays bare the fact that there is a certain narrative concerning these issues that is regarded as sacred by many in power. They seek to cancel those who dare to question it. Their attitude is fundamentally illiberal, of course. Yet this intolerance is beginning to take over even the most liberal nation on earth. Could it be that at the extreme end of cancel culture we find the culture that cancels itself?

The film contains an exclusive interview with one of the most important living feminists in the world, Phyllis Chesler. She argues that feminists today neglect the suffering of women of color. We also encounter women with extraordinary experiences and hear uncomfortable truths from leading experts on gender differences and social scientists specializing in issues surrounding multiculturalism
