'C.C.C.T.V' (2016/2018) is a mixed-media project by Mohamed-El-Haddi featuring Vinnette Campbell, a passionate carer and a loving daughter to Terence Campbell, her 93 year-old father, who suffers from dementia.

Moving away from his previous triptych on caring and dementia featuring family carer Vinnette Campbell ('Take Care', 'Take Heart', 'Take Pride', 2011/2015), Mohamed-El-Haddi tried to explore and challenge perceptions and views on caring and dementia through a variety of media. Ranging from film content to written material and from soundscape composition to photographs, his new project, entitled 'C.C.C.T.V' (Care, Core, Cure, Terence, Vinnette), aims to approach Vinnette's experience, life changes, unexpected events and achievements, along with Terence's, through a new lens.

Inspired from American nursing theorist Lydia Hall (1906-1969) and her famous model of 'The Three C's' (Care, Core, Cure), which introduced new perspectives on nursing in the field of caring, Mohamed-El-Haddi's 'C.C.C.T.V' aims to start a conversation about nursing someone with a degenerative disease ('Care'), which can and should be more 'humane' toward the patient (Core), ultimately leading to help them feel, get and live better (Cure) in the long term.

In 'C.C.C.T.V', themes around caring, growing older, declining health, love and family, dedication and identity take on a conceptual spin and embody new realities through abstract imagery, raw visuals, experimental video works, yet still very anchored in the world of both Terence and Vinnette.
