The short movie ‘brexitfree’ is an important piece for me as a forging person living in United Kingdom. It takes critical view on political and social issues. Everyone would not expect the verdict of UK-wide referendum which had place in June 2016. Many of us felt doubt what waits for us after voting. ‘brexitfree’ is a response to the ones who complicated and separated identities of people living in United Kingdom. In the movie you are having occasion to set eyes on colourful fight between politicians and individual full of insecurity. Banksy was probably one of the biggest influence for me to make this body of work. Especially his mural in Dover a flag of EU with little men climbing on the ladder trying to knock out one of the stars. Also Michal Iwanowski act of walking back to Poland after seeing graffiti ‘Go home polish’ and documenting it all the way through. Most of the artists responded to this issue through their art so as I decided the same. Living here almost four years is making you more confident to take actions and finally show to the world what you think.
