The “Better for Me” project is centered around a visual album by Garden View. The project focuses on themes of mental health, identity & intergenerational trauma in the black diaspora and first gen/ immigrant community.

For some background on the project, Garden View is musical/creative duo of Alex Douglas and Levi Wheeler, 4th year Ryerson Film- Integrated Digital students. We are musicians and filmmakers based in the downtown core. This project “Better for Me” is our final thesis project that will be featured in the Ryerson University film festival (RUFF) in May! (& hopefully many festivals to come!)
