We chose the name Cordillera, because we want to become the backbone of the film community here. To do that, we launched the Film Nevada Initiative - and one of the programs the inititative sponsors is the Cordillera Short Screenplay competition. The winner of this award will win up to 20K in in-kind production services if they bring their production here. From permits to insurance, to gear, to crew - we'll help them bring their short screenplay to life.
