I've been wondering if a protector would be a good replacement for a TV set in the bedroom. Finally decided to give this one a go after reading some good reviews (and the very good price). Boy it doesn't disappoint! The picture is sharp, the sound loud and clear, and the various settings make it a breeze to set up a perfect view even though I keep it bed-side at an angle. The installed apps (Netflix, Kodi, YouTube) make it easy to watch almost anything you'd want, be it online contents or stuffs you stream from your computer. The streaming app for Android (Miracast) works well, with very little lag from the phone. My only regret is that I should have purchased the RIZE Stand together with it. I thought I could just place it on top of the bed-side pedestal but it turned out the positioning was not ideal, so I had to get a little "creative" as can be seen in the photo. Apparently, a proper stand would make the setup much sleeker and more stable (think kids running around and messing up the angle or may even throwing it on the floor). So my 2 cents if you want to buy this projector: get the smart version for all the extra stuffs that makes it much more useful than just a projector, and buy the RIZE Stand for the flexibility on how to set it up.
