This is a video made for my two girls on International Women's Day, 2020. I wanted to remind them how brilliant it is to actually be a girl. How they have options and power. In the wake of #metoo, 'Be A Lady They Said' (vimeo.com/393253445), pay gaps, thigh gaps, and continued inequality, in a world in crisis with Coronavirus, I was aware that the future was feeling pretty grim - anxiety and concern already starting to taint the natural optimism of youth. This film is for them, and any other girls out there who need reminding that although being a girl can sometimes be challenging, it is, and will always be, awesome.
