This is a re-creation of an older film that I made several years ago. It was originally created on an epic road trip through Tropical North Queensland with just me and my mate Luke Barker, with Luke being an outstanding wordsmith, I challenged him to write something about our 5-day adventure which I had been filming – the words you hear in this piece were crafted in a couple of hours while sitting in a hostel on the last evening of our trip and originally recorded in the back of our campervan.

It was always one of my favourite works, and I just wanted to bring it back to life as it had gotten a bit dated, so I re-recorded the script with an amazing voiceover artist and re-crafted the entire vision with some new scenes and some footage leftover from other projects too.

I think there’s a lot of wisdom and inspiration in the words that Luke wrote, and I still can’t believe someone can write like that in just a moment. Hopefully, it might encourage someone to set out on a new adventure and create a new chapter in their own story.
