As part of ‘Discover Young Hackney’ Glocal Films and Hackney Children’s Theatre have started to facilitate an intergenerational video exchange in Hackney, East London.
A group of 50+ women and a group of 15-18 year old young people from Hackney will connect virtually through producing their own film clips for each other on their mobile phones. They will view each others’ video letters and record their reactions and questions. Therefore a sympathetic exchange will be set in motion.
The final product will be a professionally edited documentary that will show an intergenerational exchange in times of Covid-19.
