Accent Dance NYC is a public charity that provides dance education and professional performances to families in underserved communities. We also form community partnerships with arts organizations. Accent Dance NYC performed last September at the Picture House, and we miss everyone there.
This is a recent video that some of the professional dancers of Accent Dance NYC created together, albeit physically apart, during quarantine.
The stages and movie houses may be empty, but the desire to create and explore new avenues of self expression continue.
