This little home movie from EYC is from the archives of my father, Edward H. Roberts. On May 27, 1946, there was an opening-day event at the club... and in this 75-second film we see some formal ceremony and crowd shots, followed by before-and-after footage of a dismasting. I don't know the story, but will update this description if I learn more now that this footage is being seen by people who know Erie Yacht Club history.
