Vintage: Aliens visit planet Earth in the days leading up to the date when they plan to repatriate those that they had abducted in the years before.

A small town guy with a wife and three children finds himself in the midst of an alien nations decision to make formal contact with the humans on Earth. He finds that he has been given an invitation to the event somehow and has to run the gauntlet of government officials to make sure that he does not loose his place.

Science fiction adventure about a group of people who attempt to contact alien intelligence. Roy Neary (Richard Dreyfuss) witnesses an unidentified flying object, and even has a "sunburn" from its bright lights to prove it. Roy refuses to accept an explanation for what he saw and is prepared to give up his life to pursue the truth about UFOs.
