John Zacherle was an established actor/host, who has entertained television audiences since about 1953. As a horror host, first as "Roland" and later as "Zacherley", he hosted not only horror movie shows such as "Chiller Theater" and "The Shock Theatre", but also children cartoon shows - "The Mighty Hercules" and "The Three Stooges"; as when as a teenager music/dance show "Disc-O-Teen". He was a very versatile actor, attracting a huge following of fans. Sadly John Zacherle passed away on 27 October 2016.
