The world watches on with incredulity as the Australian government plans to secretly push through legislation to ban cash transactions over $10,000 from January 1st, 2020.
However the secret is out with the Treasury reportedly receiving over 4000 submissions which remain unpublished, and which might not even be published before the 'Currency (Restrictions on the Use of Cash) Bill 2019' is submitted to the House of Representatives as soon as w.c. September 9th, 2019.
