ACTIVITY: The activity recorded belongs to the first lesson of a unit on the solar system. In this first lesson after introducing the topic and the 3 key vocabulary words -planet, star and natural satellite-, the students discuss around a concept cartoon.
Then, in THE ACTIVITY RECORDED, they are asked to classify some pictures into 3 groups: stars, natural satellites and planets. First, in pairs they discuss about how to classify the pictures and then they proceed to complete the classification on an individual worksheet (NOTE: only the pairs dialogue part is recorded).
Finally, they will check and assess their work to then watch a video to start broadening their knowledge and play a solar dominoes game.
