Through a multi-year grant in partnership with Comic Relief, Komera has been working to address the most pressing issues for adolescent girls, youth, and parents in the Kayonza District of Rwanda. We use sport-based programs to reach the broader community with training on gender norms, teach child rights and health at primary schools, and provide direct support to the most vulnerable and marginalized teen mothers through a community-based mentorship and business development program.
