Dragon Animation WIP

Greetings! My name's Albert Guest.

I'm a Vancouver-native artist and graduate of Think Tank Training Centre in North Van. I received training for a CG Generalist position, but my focus was on 3D animation.

This is a work in progress cut of one of my animations for my demo reel. This is the big one - where the majority of my time and hard work has gone during my last months at Think Tank. My animation teacher told me he was "giving me enough rope to hang myself with" by greenlighting this project, but it's been a blast figuring it out.

The audio clip used is the incomparable Stephan Weyte from the excellent indie shooter DUSK. Unfortunately I'm unsure who produced this excellent dragon rig, but it was animated by myself in Maya, where I also modeled the rest of the scene.

I've always had an obsession with monsters and creatures, and as a big fan of reptiles, especially dragons. It's become something of a dream of mine to be able to give them life through animation in the industry. Whether TV, film or games, I aim to create vivid and memorable performances through imaginative character work and solid fundamentals.

There's still a lot I'm planning to add to this, so if you're interested, expect to see updates in the future! :)
