Designed to highlight technologies Deloitte Digital implements for their clients, we created Duck Factory 2.0 by developing a series of mechanical rubber duck products and expanding Duck Factory 1.0 to include laser cutters, an assembly station (with augmented worker training) a QA station (that features a bath tub and bubble sensing scanners) and a Command Center where everything is monitored.
The booth itself features 100 3x3 foot tiles that make up the factory floor AR marker and provides a head turn moment for passers-by. To top it off we placed a bear claw bathtub in the middle of the floor filled with rubber duck give aways.
And, because we couldn't stop there, we created a 24 page comic book as another give away - The Adventures of Dub-Dub, the Daring Disruptor Duck: Clarke Creates the Factory of the Future!!! - complete with embedded AR markers, an actually funny storyline and a ton of Easter eggs.
Goal was to drive engagement, get people to smile, play with the tech and spark conversations with the Deloitte Digital crew.
