For a recent project to post I had to take what I've learned & create my own character design specifically to be animated and work through the character rigging process in After Effects using DUIK BASSEL. I could represent any iconic character I wanted and the only criteria was the animation was limited to stay around 10 seconds.
I had a few various ideas in mind, but the human cartoon "Ace Ventura" won out. This specific scene in the movie was something that just came to mind and the timing worked out well.
The added title card and a voice rig with Lieutenant Einhorn just helped set up the scene and I think it turned out pretty well for my first character rig.
The artwork was all done inside Adobe Illustrator and then animated in After Effects.
